Presidency denies contact made with Muslim Brotherhood

The Egyptian Presidency denied on Tuesday making any contact with what it described as "groups seeking to impose control through violence," referring to the Muslim Brotherhood and its Islamist allies.
 
A statement issued by the Presidency on Tuesday denied media speculation that interim President Adly Mansour and the government had made contact with Islamist factions, claiming they "seek to impose their control through violence, against the will of the Egyptian people."
