The glorious July 23 Revolution has underscored Egypt’s active role at the Arab and African levels as well as its significant contributions to defending the rights and interests of the countries of the South in all continents, which Egypt has maintained through an active and leading role in various international planforms, President Abdel al-Fattah al-Sisi said.
President Sisi, while delivering a speech on the 72nd anniversary of the July 23 Revolution, said that Egypt will overcome this turbulent phase at the regional and international level, and continue its path towards progress, development, as well as building the nation, in order to fulfill our aspirations for a free, dignified homeland and a bright future for all people.
“Egypt has kept pace with changes of time, opening up to the world and striving to enhance its economic, investment, urban, and industrial capabilities,” the president said.
“It has integrated into the global trade system while maintaining a constant focus on protecting the national economy as much as possible from the fluctuations and shocks of the global economy. This has been achieved through comprehensive and effective systems, offering the necessary social protection.”
