President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi received on Tuesday Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Al Safadi in the presence of Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Egypt’s General Intelligence chief Abbas Kamel.
Presidential spokesman Ahmed Fahmi said the president discussed with the Jordanian Foreign minister brotherly relations binding Egypt and Jordan.
According to the spokesman, they hailed the level of coordination between the two countries and reaffirmed the importance of pushing forward economic relations to increase the trade exchange to a higher level.
The meeting tackled the latest developments in the Middle East and coordination between Egypt and Jordan in that respect.
The president and the Jordanian foreign minister stressed the importance of intensifying international efforts to find a political solution to the Palestinian problem in line with the international legitimacy resolutions.
