Presidential decree no. 403 of 2023 has approved an agreement between the Egyptian and Canadian governments on carrying out a project to boost climate-smart agriculture and agricultural biodiversity to bolster the adaptability in the rural areas that are most affected by climate change in the Delta and Upper Egypt.
The House of Representatives approved the 10-million-Canadian-dollar worth agreement during a session held on November 13, 2023.
The decree was published by the official gazette on Thursday.
