Minister of Public Business Sector Mohamed Shemi started a tour on Saturday 15/2/2025 in a number of companies and factories affiliated to the ministry in southern Upper Egypt.
The tour comes within the framework of continuous field visits to follow up on the track of work in the industrial and productive facilities in companies affiliated to the ministry.
The tour is also meant to stand on the implementation of the upgrade and renovation projects in addition to following up the action plan to promote and support the national industry.
Shemi is to start the tour by visiting Aluminum Company of Egypt (Egyptalum), an affiliate to the Metallurgical Industries Holding Company in Naga Hammadi in Qena.
The visit includes inspecting factories and production lines and following up the flow of the production process as part of the ministry’s keenness on upgrading performance and increasing productivity in addition to promoting the pivotal role of the industrial sector in supporting national economy.
During the tour, the minister will meet with a number of workers in the factories and stand on their opinions and visions on improving the work environment and increasing production.
