Egyptian authorities will open Rafah border crossing for two days starting Saturday for humanitarian cases and stranded Palestinians on both sides.
An official source confirmed that Egyptian authorities coordinated with the Palestinian side to open the crossing for stranded Palestinians on both sides for students, patients and those carrying residence permits in Egypt and other Arab and foreign countries.
Rafah crossing was closed following the Karam al-Qawadis incident on October 24, 2014.
It is occasionally opened for humanitarian cases and to admit aid into the Gaza Strip.
