A French navy warship has arrived at Safaga Port for an unofficial visit, scheduled to last four days.
First secretary of the French Embassy, and the French military attache received the ship at the port together with a number of Egyptian officials from the Safaga naval base, led by Major General Ashraf Atwa.
Sources at the port of Safaga said the arrival of the ship was fully secured in coordination with the naval base, adding that an entertainment program for the crew has been prepared, including visits to various Red Sea landmarks. The ship is due to leave the port of Safaga on Sunday after refueling.
