The Colombian singer Shakira will give a concert in Egypt in November.
Waleed Mansour, a concert organizer who contracted Shakira, said the singer will perform on a stage at the hockey stadium in Cairo built especially for the concert. Shakira, Mansour said, will sing for the first time on a stage that is built by an Egyptian engineer.
Shakira has previously given a series of concerts in the Middle East. Four years ago, she held her first concert in Egypt, performing at the Pyramids of Giza.
