The Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport and multinational information technology Company SITA on Tuesday tested out the Baggage Reconciliation System (BRS) for checking traveler baggage at the arrival terminals.
Estonian Air flight KC0557 witnessed the first utilization of the BRS in the airport, according to airport officials.
SITA’s Chairman Wael al-Nashar said that the Ministry of Civil Aviation implements terms of agreements signed with the international and regional organizations to reach the highest levels of air safety, and performed the BRS test in activation of the International Air Transport Association Resolution #753.
