Singer and actress Sherine Abdel-Wahab on Saturday slammed rumors spread online claiming that she was seeking to reunite with her ex-husband Hossam Habib.
In her statement Wahab explained that while she still respects and admires Habib, reuniting with him is not on her mind and she is instead currently preparing to resume her career with multiple new songs and concerts.
Abdel-Wahab urged news sites and social media to be accurate in reporting her personal life.
The singer’s brother, Mohamed Abdel-Wahab, sparked controversy amongst Wahab’s fan-base after hinting in a Facebook post that Habib was seeking to reunite with her.
The Public Prosecution office New Cairo previously dismissed Abdel-Wahab and Habib, from the prosecution office, after hearing their statements.
Abdel-Wahab earlier in July accused Habib of assaulting at her villa, and damaging their studio.
