Dollar price rises against the Egyptian pound by up to 85 piasters after Eid al-Fitr holiday
The dollar price rose against the Egyptian pound by up to 85 piasters at the end of trading in the first week after the Eid al-Fitr holiday in Egypt in 9 banks compared to the last trading day before the holiday on Monday.
The fluctuation of the dollar price at the beginning of the first working day for banks after a sudden exit of foreign indirect investments from treasury bills and bonds, but very slightly after increased fears of geopolitical tensions following the Iranian drone and missile attack on Israel, according to bankers interviewed by Masrawy website.
The prices are as follows:
- National Bank of Egypt: 48.28 pounds for buying and 48.38 pounds for selling, an increase of 75 piasters for buying and selling.
- Bank of Egypt: 48.28 pounds for buying and 48.38 pounds for selling, an increase of 75 piasters for buying and selling.
- Bank of Cairo: 48.28 pounds for buying and 48.38 pounds for selling, an increase of 75 piasters for buying and selling.
- Commercial International Bank: 48.28 pounds for buying and 48.38 pounds for selling, an increase of 75 piasters for buying and selling.
- Baraka Bank: 48.25 pounds for buying and 48.35 pounds for selling, an increase of 75 piasters for buying and selling.
- Suez Canal Bank: 48.28 pounds for buying and 48.38 pounds for selling, an increase of 78 piasters for buying and selling.
- Credit Agricole: 48.28 pounds for buying and 48.38 pounds for selling, an increase of 58 piasters for buying and selling.
- Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank: 48.55 pounds for buying and 48.65 pounds for selling, an increase of 85 piasters for buying and selling.
- ALEXBANK (Bank of Alexandria): 48.28 pounds for buying and 48.38 pounds for selling, an increase of 73 piasters for buying and selling.
