President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi congratulated on Sunday Zamalek Club after defeating RS Berkane of Morocco 1-0 and winning the African Confederation Cup for the second time.
On his official social pages, Sisi hailed the team’s distinguished performance and efforts.
He also hailed Zamalek fans and all Egyptians and wished the team more success.
Zamalek’s winning goal was scored by midfielder Ahmed Hamdi 23rd minutes, to be 2-2 on aggregate, with one goal scored abroad.
Zamalek’s first title dates back to 2019, versus the same competitors.
