
President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi affirmed that October has always been a month of great achievements for Egypt, from the glorious victory of October 1973 to the recent diplomatic and political successes.
Speaking at the 42nd Cultural Symposium marking the October War celebrations, the President said October 2025 had “a special flavor,” as Egypt succeeded in halting the war in the Gaza Strip following intensive efforts.
He stressed that Egypt’s objective has remained unchanged from day one, explaining: “Our goal has always been to bring in humanitarian aid, stop the fighting, and secure the release of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners.”
President al-Sisi underscored that Egypt’s actions stem from a deep sense of humanitarian and responsible commitment toward the Palestinian people and the stability of the region.
He reiterated that Egypt’s steadfast policy is to work for the security and stability of the nation and its neighborhood, saying: “Our constant aim is for Egypt and the entire region to live in peace and stability.”The President also expressed his appreciation for the spirit of unity and resilience shown by the Egyptian people during this period.He noted that Egypt’s recent regional achievements reflect its enduring ability to shape peace, just as it forged victory in October 1973.
