President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Wednesday 15/2/2023 a message from his Kenyan counterpart William Ruto on boosting bilateral relations in all domains.
Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmi said the message was handed to President Sisi by Kenyan Trade, Investment and Industry Minister Moses Kiarie Kuria.
The message also includes a request for Egypt’s support to Kenyan endeavors to activate the African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement among the COMESA, the East African Community and South Africa economic groupings, especially as Egypt was among the early countries that supported the agreement.
Sisi expressed support for furthering cooperation with Kenya, reiterating full backing to the Kenyan president’s efforts to activate the African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement in a way that will increase trade exchange and economic integration among African nations.
