South Sinai, Greek company discuss maritime, tourism investments

South Sinai Governor Khaled Mubarak asserted the importance of international partnerships to boost tourism infrastructure and provide investment opportunities to contribute to creating new job opportunities and support sustainable development in the region.

This came during a meeting with Founder and CEO of Goldenport Group Paris Dragnis as part of Mubarak’s official visit to Greece.

The group is a provider of global shipping services to its charterers and innovative solutions for cargo movements requirements.

The meeting tackled cooperation in the fields of maritime tourism and investment in tourism infrastructure in the governorate.

In a statement on Saturday 9/11/2024, Mubarak pointed out that the meeting reflects the commitment of the governorate to develop tourism and invest in creative projects that support Egypt Vision 2030.

Meanwhile, Dragnis expressed his interest in the touristic capabilities of the governorate, pointing out that the governorate has great potentials to be a center for luxurious tourism and maritime activities that cope with the expertise of the Goldenport Group in this field.
