Osama Mahmoud Mekhemar, the head of the Central Control Department of Business Transactions with the Ministry of Supply, sent a letter to all Supply Ministry departments throughout the country stating that there is a perfume called Relax sold in pharmacies and gift shops that leads to poisoning and death within three days of its use.
The letter asked for the withdrawal of samples from the product and to send it to the competent laboratories for analysis.
Head of Minya Supply Department Mahmoud Youssef launched a crackdown, upon the letter, on pharmacies and gift and accessory shops in search for the product but couldn’t find it so far.
Youssef said the department warned of the product through social media as a quick precautionary measure.
