The newspaper Al-Madina quoted high political and security sources as saying strict instructions have been issued to the symbols of former President Hosni Mubarak's regime, whether acquitted or imprisoned to avoid politics.
On Saturday, Mubarak and former Interior Minister Habib al-Adly were cleared of charges in connection to killing protesters during the 25 January revolution, what in media was called “the trial of the century.”
