Temperatures across Egypt see slight increase on Thursday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts a slight rise in temperatures across most of the country on Thursday.

The EMA explained that the weather will be cool at night and during the early morning hours, becoming warmer during the day in most areas.

Winds will be active across most of the country at intervals, with speeds ranging from 30 to 35 km/h.

The EMA warned of rough seas in some areas of the Red Sea coast and the Gulfs of Suez and Aqaba, where wind speeds will range from 40-70 km/h, with waves reaching heights of two to 3.5 meters.

The authority also predicted a slight chance of low cloud formation over different areas from northern Egypt to Greater Cairo and the Suez Canal cities, which may be accompanied by light, insignificant rain in some areas.

Expected temperatures for Thursday:

  • Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt:  27C
  • North Coast: 23C
  • Northern Upper Egypt: 28C
  • Southern Upper Egypt: 33C
