Despite the decrease, temperatures will remain hot in Upper Egypt and South Sinai. Cairo, the North Coast, and the Delta region will also remain hot and humid.
Active winds will continue, and early morning fog will fall on roads leading to Cairo, the North Coast, and the Delta region.

The weekend will witness the beginning of another heatwave, with temperatures rising Friday and reaching up to 40C in Cairo and the Delta, 42C in Upper Egypt, 42C in South Sinai, and 35C along the North Coast over the weekend and into Monday.
