The organizing committee for the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Saturday evening announced the ticket prices for the Egypt vs. Australia match in the Round of 32 of the ongoing tournament.
Prices for the tickets range from US$776 to $8,354 – equivalent to over LE 400,000.
The Egyptian national team will face its Australian rival next Friday, specifically at 9:00 PM Cairo and Mecca time, as part of the Round of 32 competitions of the current World Cup.
The Egyptian national football team, led by coach Hossam Hassan, officially qualified for the Round of 32 after finishing second in Group G with five points, behind Belgium on goal difference.
Egypt secured their place in the Round of 32 of the 2026 World Cup after defeating New Zealand and drawing against both Iran and Belgium in the group stage.
Australia also qualified for the Round of 32, finishing second in Group D with four points, behind the US. They achieved this through a win against Turkey, a loss to the US, and a draw against Paraguay.
The 2026 World Cup kicked off in Mexico, Canada, and the US, featuring 48 teams for the first time in the tournament’s history.
The cup runs from June 11th to July 19th.
