CAIRO, Oct 30 (MENA) – Prosecutor General Mohamed Shawqi issued directives to justice departments across the country to take legal and deterrent procedures against the owners of cars who doctor their own license plates to avoid fines and punishments.
A statement issued by the public prosecution on Monday said those who change the numbers of the plate or obliterate or change them will be referred to the Criminal Court.
The decision came after the discovery of many manipulation cases in the plates and the licenses of some cars. (MENA)
