Tunisian President Moncef al-Marzouki is scheduled to visit Egypt on Friday for the first time since the outbreak of Arab revolutions.
He will meet with Egyptian counterpart President Mohamed Morsy at the presidential palace in Heliopolis to congratulate him on winning the election.
The two officials will discuss ways to consolidate bilateral relations and expand economic cooperation.
Marzouki will also give a lecture on the Arab Spring at the presidential palace Friday afternoon.
