Two 22-year-old men were killed in the Nasr City area on Tuesday after fighting over money, according to initial investigations.
One man shot the other with his gun. The man's brothers decided to take revenge by stabbing the shooter with a knife, according to the investigations.
A crime report of the crime was filed after the two bodies were taken to the morgue for medical examination to determine the causes of their deaths.
A number of citizens had filed a report of the incident at the Nasr City police department as soon as the men died.
Eyewitnesses told police that one victim had tried to get out of repaying the other a sum of money he owed him. They said the situation developed as the man who wanted the repayment shot the other man with a pistol he had hid in his clothes. The man's brothers then reportedly confessed the murder.
