Investment Minister Ashraf Salman attended Wednesday the signing ceremony of a contract between the Alexandria Company for Containers and a US company that manufactures cranes.
The two companies signed an agreement to supply six giant cranes, with a capacity of 40 tons each, to Egypt at a cost of LE65 million.
The cranes will be supplied in 10 months and will be used in the construction work at Alexandria and Dakheila straits.

The Investment Ministry will continue to implement a corporate restructuring plan, which includes a monthly follow-up of the achievement of companies. Salman said the plan has achieved positive results, giving an example for the Holding Company for Maritime and Land Transport, which according to him achieved a profit of LE670 million, compared to LE430 million for the same period in 2014.
