Verdict banning NASL to be issued on 21 May

Cairo Urgent Matters Court on Wednesday set 21 May to issue a verdict in a lawsuit demanding the ban of the National Alliance to Support Legitimacy (NASL), which supports deposed President Mohamed Morsy and rejects the military coup.

The lawsuit also demands the seizure of the alliance's assets, according to a judicial source.

Lawyer Samir Sabri, who filed the lawsuit against the Interim President and the Interior Minister, claimed the alliance supports terrorism and should thus be banned.
