Weather temperatures to go down by 6C: EMA

The Director of Remote Sensing at the Egyptian Meteorological Authority, Iman Shaker, warned that starting Tuesday there will be a noticeable decrease in temperatures by six to and seven degrees in Cairo Governorate.

In statements to the “Extra News” channel on Tuesday, she said that the decrease in temperatures will continue during the coming days across the country.

The minimum temperature will reach 15C instead of 20C, she said.

She advised citizens against wearing light clothes and not to be deceived by the temporary rise in temperature over the past few days.

Dust will be present in the layers of the atmosphere due to the stillness of wind.

Light mist is predicted in the early morning without a significant decrease in visibility on roads, Shaker pointed out.

She said light rain is expected on the northern coasts, such as Alexandria, Port Said and Matruh, over two days starting Tuesday.
