Monday’s weather temperatures began to rise between 2C and 4C compared to Sunday in addition to an increase in the brightness of the sun’s rays during the day, Manar Ghanem, a member of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority’s media center, said.
Ghanem explained, during a phone call to the “Good Morning Egypt” program, broadcast on Egyptian state TV that on Monday, the weather will be very hot during the day in Greater Cairo while it while milder temperatures will prevail at night.
Winds will be active throughout the day ranging from 30 to 40 kilometers per hour, which helps to mitigate the hot weather to some extent.
She expects that starting on Monday a gradual rise in temperatures, adding it will rise by another 1C on Tuesday.
This increase in temperatures will continue, until the end of the week as to reach 35C in Greater Cairo.
A relative increase in humidity levels is expected, during the day and at night.
This increases the sense of high temperatures, she said.
