Weather temperatures will continue to rise on Friday, expected to be about a degree or two higher than normal.
In addition to this increase there is also more sunshine brightness, Manar Ghanem, a member of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority’s media center, said.
Ghanem explained, during a telephone call on the “Good Morning Egypt” program, broadcast on Egyptian TV, that the maximum temperature over Cairo will reach 35C on Friday which is higher than the normal rates by one to two degrees Celsius, and that the weather will be hot during the day.
Temperatures will drop by 10C in the evening and active wind is expected, she added.
The temperature rise will continue, reaching its peak on Sunday and Monday of next week, as the maximum temperature in Cairo will hit 37C
Temperatures are expected to continue rising during next week, above normal rates by about 3C.
She advised citizens to avoid exposure to the sun from 12 pm to 3 pm and to drink enough water.
