23 people arrested in Minya for blocking trains

The Maghagha Prosecution has detained 23 suspects for four days pending an investigation into charges of blocking railway tracks.
 
Major General Ahmed Suleiman, head of security in Minya, received notification from Maghagha police station that 500 people from Islamist movements were blocking the train tracks. Security forces broke up their protest and trains resumed their operations.
 
Police arrested 23 people for inciting and participating in the disturbance, and they were referred to the public prosecution and ordered detained.
