The Armed Forces announced a press conference Saturday at the Morale Affairs Department to give information about the Operation Eagle mission Sinai.
Senior military leaders are scheduled to attend the conference during which details on the joint police-Armed Forces operation would be discussed.
"The conference would reveal the names of the suspects in the Rafah checkpoint attack and the results of recent investigations," a source told Al-Masry Al-Youm
Four individuals with Palestinian nationality are suspected of being involved in the attack, along with one Egyptian and several others whose nationalities have not been revealed.
The assault was carried out on 5 August and resulted in the death of 16 Egyptian soldiers stationed at a checkpoint near the Egypt-Israel border.
