Official sources at Cairo International Airport said that Hall 4, allocated to receiving passengers coming on private jets, earned revord revenues during the past four days out of foreign senior officials who arrived in Cairo to attend the inauguration of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
The hall received 78 planes in four days, achieving unprecedented revenues equal to LE247,000, the sources said Thursday.
The official sources explained that each private plane pays US$500 in addition to $50 for each passenger on board. Services like refueling, and food have also increased the revenues, the sources pointed out.
