Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouly said the armed forces have finished 7,104 social housing units in Alexandria, Beheira and Luxor and bore 25 percent of the cost.
“The state is committed to providing social housing for low-and middle-income families,” the minister said, adding that the ministry aims to build one million units nationwide. “On 30 June applicants can submit requests for units in the Tenth of Ramadan and Sadat cites and in Assiut.”
“All units will be delivered with full utilities,” he said.
