Heavy rain hit Alexandria on Thursday morning, suspending fishing in the eastern Alexandria Port.
Weather temperatures notably declined, reaching frost in some areas.
Navigation was not affected by weather, however.
The Christmas seasonal storm started late this year in the northern coast, accompanied by heavy rain and a westerly wind. Bad weather is expected to continue for another two days in Alexandria.
Acting head of the Aleandria Port Authority Fatehy Taha announced that navigation through Alexandria's straits was not affected by the bad weather Thursday due to moderate wind speeds and wave heights.
