The USD exchange rate on Thursday is stable in Egyptian banks, according to local bankers.
The US dollar is being sold at LE17.87 and bought at LE17.77 at the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque du Caire.
Bank of Alexandria is selling the US dollar at LE17.88 and buying it at LE17.78, two piasters down from Wednesday prices of selling at LE17.90 and buying at LE17.80.
The Commercial International Bank (CIB), Al-Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK), Al-Baraka Bank Egypt, Arab African International Bank (AAIB) and the National Bank of Greece (NBG) are selling the US dollar at LE17.90 and buying it at LE17.80.
The exchange rate increased by two piasters in Banque Misr, which is now selling the USD at LE17.94 and buying it at LE17.84.
