Colombian superstar Shakira has officially announced a massive concert at the foot of the Great Pyramids of Giza on April 7, Al-Shorouk reported.
The show is a marquee stop on her highly anticipated “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour” (Women No Longer Cry).
This performance marks a historic homecoming for the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer, who hasn’t performed at the Pyramids since her legendary 2007 show.
Her return follows a 19-year absence from the Giza venue and highlights a regional itinerary that represents her most significant tour of the Arab world in 15 years.
Shakira’s regional takeover kicks off on March 28 in the stunning coastal city of Aqaba, Jordan.
From there, the tour moves across the Gulf and beyond:
- April 1: Doha, Qatar.
- April 4: Yas Island, Abu Dhabi (as part of the high-octane “OFF Limits Music” Festival).
- April 7: The Great Pyramids of Giza, Egypt.
- April 10/15: A double-header in India, rocking Mumbai and New Delhi.
- April 19: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (taking the stage at the iconic Jeddah Corniche Circuit).
