
The ambassadors of Zambia, Tanzania and Burundi in Cairo, along with the head of the Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association, praised the advanced medical capabilities, modern equipment, and comprehensive healthcare services at Shefaa Al Orman Oncology Hospital in Luxor, describing it as a source of pride not only for Egypt but for the entire African continent.
Mahmoud Fouad, CEO of the Shefaa Al Orman Foundation, said the visit reflects the strong ties between Egypt and African countries, noting that Shefaa Al Orman hospitals serve as a leading model of medical and humanitarian work, providing free treatment to thousands of patients in line with the latest international medical standards.
Ambassadors Topply Mulambo Lubaya of Zambia, Richard Mutayoba Makanzo of Tanzania, Omar Ntizimbere of Burundi expressed their appreciation for the distinguished medical and humanitarian efforts they witnessed at Shefaa Al Orman hospitals, stressing that the medical complex represents an inspiring model of integrating charitable work with advanced healthcare and a message of hope for thousands of patients in Egypt and Africa.
For his part, Yousri al-Sharkawy, head of the Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association, said Shefaa Al Orman hospitals represent a notable example of the ability of Egyptian charitable institutions to provide advanced healthcare services in line with the highest international standards.
He added that this humanitarian medical complex reflects Egypt’s strong role in supporting the healthcare sector across Africa and could serve as an important platform for strengthening cooperation and exchanging medical expertise among African countries.
