‘Al-Baad La Yazhab lel Maazoun Maretain‘ tops Egypt’s box office

Egypt’s movie box office revenues saw a small boom Wednesday, achieving a total of LE2.25 million in revenues with Karim Abdel Aziz’s “Al-Baad La Yazhab lel Maazoun Maretain” (Some Do Not Go to the Maazon Twice) earning the highest revenues, up to LE1.4 million on its first night of screening.

The movie is starring Karim Abdel Aziz, Dina al-Sherbiny and Maged al-Kedwany, Bayoumy Fouad and a number of guests of honor, including Ahmed Fahmy, Amr Abdel Gelil, Nesreen Amin and others. It is written by Ayman Wattar and directed by Ahmed al-Gendy.

“Mesh Anna” (Not Me) earned LE755,000.

It tells the story of Hassan Tamer Hosni, a young man who has a very strong relation with his sick mother, actress Sawsan Badr. He is always keen to sit with her as long as possible to take care of her, as she is the center of his life.

“Mesh Anna” co-stars Maged al-Kedwany, Sawsan Badr, Hala Shiha, and others.

The story, script and dialogue by Hosni, and it’s directed by Sarah Wafik.

“Ahmed Notre Dame” movie earned LE 41,000 in revenues. It is starring Ramiz Galal, Ghada Adel, Bayoumi Fouad, Hamdiy al-Mirghany, and it is written by Loay al-Sayed, and directed by Mahmoud Karim.

“Mama Hamel” (Mama is Pregnant) is written by Louay al-Sayed, directed by Mahmoud Karim and stars Laila Elwy, Bayoumi Fouad, Hamdi al-Mirghany, Mohamed Salam, Nancy Salah, Hoda al-Etreby, Sherif Desouky, Hoda Maged, Samy Maghawry, Badria Tolba and Sarah Abdel Rahman. It earned LE13,000.

“Dido” earned LE18,000, starring Karim Fahmy, Mohamed Tharwat, Hoda al-Mufti, Bayoumi Fouad, Hamdy al-Mirghany, and Ahmed Fathy. It is written by Karim Fahmy and directed by Amr Salah.
