Former prime minister and head of the secular coalition the Iraqi List, Iyad Allawi, has renewed rejection of Iran's interference in Iraqi politics in an interview with Egypt's national television.
"Iraqis are part of the Arab nation that totally rejects foreign interventions," Allawi said.
Regional and international problems, according to Allawi, have impeded Iraqi political progress. Iraqis have yet to form a government since going to the polls seven months ago.
The Iraqi List "will not be represented in a government formed by outgoing prime minister Nouri al-Maliki," said Allawi. Al-Maliki is the Iraqi National Alliance nominee for the premiership.
