Badei thanked the Brotherhood youth, who were stationed in front of the headquarters, for their patience during assaults by what he described as "thugs," even though many suffered injuries.
Calm prevailed on Saturday around the headquarters as street cleaners removed remains of the Molotovs and stones used during Friday's clashes.
