The New Urban Communities Authority has begun to service daily trips between Borg al-Arab and Alexandria/Sidi Gaber as of Monday.
The four daily trips are run in accordance to the instructions of Housing Minister Mostafa Madbouly.
The train runs at a cost of LE278,000 monthly, said the Borg al-Arab City official Ahmed Ibrahim Desouky. He pointed out that the train will solve many transport problems between Alexandria and Borg al-Arab.
The train departs daily at 6:30 am from Sidi Gaber station and arrives in Borg al-Arab at 7:30, then at 8:30 from Borg al-Arab to arrive in Sidi Gaber at 9:30 am. It returns 3:30 pm from Sidi Gaber. It departs again from Borg al-Arab at 4:45 pm.
