Egypt hosted a series of meetings in Cairo on Sunday, July 19, 2026, bringing together Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty, Eritrean Foreign Minister Osman Saleh, Somali Foreign Minister Abdisalam Abdi Ali and Massad Boulos, Senior Advisor to the US President for Arab and African Affairs.
The meetings were held as part of Egypt’s efforts to support peace, security and stability in the Horn of Africa, as well as broader initiatives aimed at promoting regional peace and stability.
