The ninth session of the Egyptian-Korean Business Council will be inaugurated Thursday in South Korea.
President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will participate in the session, which will conclude his tour of Asia. Thirty Egyptian businessmen will participate in the session alongside a number of Egyptian companies.
Bilateral meetings between 100 Egyptian and Korean investors representing major Korean and Egyptian companies and heads of economic and trade unions in the two countries will discuss investment opportunities for joint economic cooperation, said head of the Egyptian side of the council Raouf Ghabour.
The council will discuss prospects for economic cooperation and means of enhancing trade and investment relations between Egypt and Korea, especially through investment opportunities in Egypt in projects like the Suez Canal axis development project, and other infrastructure projects, Raouf added.
