Egypt’s market gains LE8.9 bn on Wednesday, EGX30 jumps 3.5%

Egypt's stock market extended its gains on Wednesday's session, as the benchmark EGX30 index jumped 3.5 percent to 6,649.7 points with a turnover of LE843.7 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
 
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index increased 2.93 percent and 2.01 percent, respectively.
 
Local and Arab institutions were net buyers recording net flows of LE91.2 million and LE4.4 million respectively, while foreign institutions were net sellers recording net flows of LE130.7 million.
 
The EGX market gained LE8.9 billion (US$1.14 billion), hitting LE424.12 billion, compared to Tuesday's LE415.22 billion.
