The surplus of inter-trade between Egypt and Sudan declined to US$280.1 million in 2014, down from US$459.1 million in 2013, according to a Cabinet report.
Egypt’s exports to both Sudan and South Sudan fell to US$394 million in 2014, down from US$533.4 million in 2013, according to the Information and Decision Support Center.
Egypt’s imports from both countries, on the other hand, moved to US$113.9 million, up from US$74.3 million in 2013.
