Egypt, UAE discuss latest regional developments

Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty had a phone call last night with UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The call addressed the rapidly evolving developments in the region, particularly in light of the recent Iranian attacks targeting the UAE. Abdelatty reiterated Egypt’s strong condemnation and firm denunciation of these assaults.

Both ministers praised the depth of bilateral relations and the strong fraternal ties between the two nations, as reflected in the recent communication between President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed.

Abdelatty asserted Egypt’s full solidarity with the UAE and its unwavering support during this critical time, stressing Egypt’s backing of all measures taken by the UAE to safeguard its security and stability.

He also underscored Egypt’s firm position that the security of the UAE and all Gulf states is an integral part of Egypt’s national security, highlighting the close and inseparable link between the stability and security of both countries and the region as a whole.
