Deputy of Education Minister Mohamed Megahed and head of human resources and social security department in the Chinese city of Shaoxing discussed means to boost cooperation in the fields of technical education and vocational and technical training between Egypt and China.
During the meeting, Megahed expressed happiness over the strategic partnership with China, asserting the importance of technical education as a main factor in sustainable development and keeping up with the global challenges.
He asserted the desire of the Ministry of Education to benefit from the successful Chinese experience in this field and applying the best international practices and criteria.
Meanwhile, the Chinese official lauded the binding ties between Egypt and China, expressing appreciation to the efforts of the ministry in developing and upgrading the Egyptian educational system in addition to providing education opportunities and training for Egyptian youth.
He asserted the keenness of the Chinese side to present support to boost cooperation in the field of technical cooperation between both countries.
