Egyptian Embassy marks World Heritage Day in France

The Egyptian Embassy in France, in cooperation with Egypt Cultural Center in Paris, organized a photo exhibition and cultural seminar titled “Celebrating our past to build our future” in commemoration of World Heritage Day.

In her remarks during the event, Egypt’s Cultural Attaché in France Chahinda Ezzat highlighted the event’s role in showcasing Egypt’s rich heritage, as well as the vital cooperation between Egypt and France to preserve this heritage.

The exhibition featured photographs documenting the work of archaeological missions in Egypt, including sites at Saqqara, Luxor, Sohag, and Tanis.

Meanwhile, mission heads and restoration experts gave detailed briefings on their excavation and restoration activities.

The cultural seminar focused on French contributions to preserving Egyptian antiquities and fostering bilateral cultural cooperation.

The event attracted a large number of cultural heritage enthusiasts, researchers, and archaeological restoration experts.
