Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shokry held talks Tuesday morning with his French counterpart Laurent Fabius, which were extended to a working lunch, before holding a joint press conference at the headquarters of the French Foreign Ministry.
French President Francois Hollande should receive Shokry later Tuesday at the Elysee Palace where they will discuss bilateral relations and how to enhance economic, trade, and investment cooperation and stimulate inbound tourism, as well as to discuss regional issues like the Libyan, Palestinian, Syrian, and Iraqi crises which threaten international security.
Shokry arrived in Paris Monday evening as part of a European tour. Shokry will head to Italy Tuesday evening as a final destination in the tour.
