Hurghada International Airport receives first Air Cairo flight from Frankfurt

On Friday morning, Hurghada International Airport received its first Air Cairo flight coming from Frankfurt, carrying 144 tourists.

Chairman of Air Cairo, Hussein Sherif, confirmed that the airline seeks to expand into new markets and reach a number of foreign destinations in order to boost business and tourism at Egyptian tourist destinations. 

A public relations team at the airport received the plane passengers, presenting them with flowers and souvenirs, and quickly completed their arrival procedures. 

Air Cairo announced that it will operate 30 regular flights per week during the summer season between Hurghada International Airport and 14 airports in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, which will contribute to tourism in the Red Sea resort town.
