At Misr-Iran Textile company, 2400 workers organized a sit-in on Sunday calling for the resignation of the managerial board. They said the board had failed to respond to demands for monthly bonuses, the permanent appointment of temporary workers (including disabled laborers), and the promotion of workers who have spent more than 15 years in the same positions.
